Which is Aunt Mavis, and which are the roses? They're both lovely. "The bride," as Uncle Joe calls her, got these pretty ones from him on Valentine's Day. Say, we're making a mental note that the cabinet behind her is sadly lacking in BLUE PLATES. Note to cousins: Mavis, Christmas, blue plate. If we all get her one, she can give them back to us the next Christmas. (Postscript: Aunt Mavis has written to say, Please! No! No blue plates!)
