The contest to name Joe and Mavis' rural Wisconsin property got pretty heated. Certain people (Anna, for one) campaigned very hard for "Elmacida" (ELmer/MAvis/CIndy/DAvy), but it lost out to "Waldesruh" ("peaceful woods"), which had to win, because it was Grandma Sprick's idea, and the best one.
