This birdhouse model of Christ Episcopal Church in Old Frontenac, Minn., built in 1995 for Mom and Dad (Aunt Alverna and Uncle Bill), has been pretty much ruined now by enthusiastic purple martins, the great weeping willow tree behind it has come down and the old Miller place has been sold (to the wonderful Beyls). But we keep these things -- the birdhouse, the great tree and the Miller house -- forever in our hearts.
