Grandma Sprick, Annette and Emma relaxed in the Millers' living room one Christmas Day. After the big dinner, usually the older folks retired to the living room where they could hear themselves think, the card players went to the sunporch, Gus found a place to snooze that everyone else would then avoid at all costs, and the kids hung out in the basement.
