Noah's in college now, but it seems like it was just yesterday when he stepped off the bus after his first day of kindergarten at Pillsbury Elementary School in northeast Minneapolis in fall 1994. In true Noah fashion, he enjoyed it immensely and wasn't a bit shy. In keeping with Miller family tradition, his mom dressed him in bright red, just like Alverna dressed her and her siblings in that lucky, lively color.

Noah's first day of kindergarten
