A break from the long winter

Chris and Mary, winter-weary like all of the Minnesota cousins, impulsively jumped into one of their festive dented vans and headed south to Alabama (Orange Beach, a resort in the off-season) for Elizabeth's spring break week, taking the little girls and leaving the older kids behind to work and par-tay. A few snapshots:

The temperature along the Alabama coast is not quite high enough for swimming, CMill says, but the 70s feel pretty nice. That feet-in-the-sand thing looks pretty good to us!
