(Tommy Lee Jones famously spoke that line in the movie "The Fugitive," in case it sounds familiar.) In March 2006, Annette and Hart's old cabin, now Pam's, came down. That's Alverna and Pam watching. If they look pleased, it's because the place was full of bats and molds and simply was at the end of its wonderful life. Another cabin may arise someday on the spot. The red outhouse and shed endure. No doubt the bats have relocated there.
Alverna had just one more month to live when this photo was taken. If only we'd known! And yet, we're glad we didn't know...

My, my, my, what a mess
