Hardworking scrapblog research assistant Uncle Joe offers this info: The photo includes folks from the Leonhardt, Stegemeyer, Klindworth and Sprick clans, as well as an unrelated clan, the Peters. "The four boys in the front row with me and Maynard are Peters boys, with their sister, Martha, to the left," Joe says. "Grandpa Sprick and John Peters were partners in the carpentry business and spoke the same language until one day they disagreed on a rafter placement and went their separate business ways. But they always remained good friends."
