In this June 1987 photo, Aunt Annette Sprick Kulseth worked on the porch of her Old Frontenac cabin to refinish the old family trunk in which her grandfather, Heinrich Augustin, packed most of his family's possessions when he came to America ("Amerika," it says on the trunk) from Deutschland a century before.
