We're delighted with this great photo from the 1970s, submitted by Uncle Joe, of uncles LeRoy, Ed and John smokin', drinkin' and readin' in the hunting shack at Waldesruh. No word on whether they bagged any deer.

LeRoy shot an eight pointer the first day but was humiliated the second day by locking himself in the outhouse.
I love your family, Pam! Makes me think of my Vermont childhood and also all of the good things about Minnesota life.
