The best our coach could come up with at the athletic banquet was "Elmer is dependable---but not the strongest man on the team!" My buddy, Howard Juliot, was the first athlete from Lake City to receive all-state honors. He weighed l55 lbs.(I weighed 170)We both played tackle.
