Slightly less weighty: Pam's Month 1 report

The scrapblog editor promised to report to the cousins on her Weight Watchers quest once a month, so here's the first dispatch. After four weeks of being fairly diligent about the plan, which was not easy for her, but she did it even though she did not want to, to put if mildly, your heroine is down 7.2 pounds. Trust us, this is a very small chip off a very large block. (Someday, if she works up the courage and humility and manages to stay on this healthier path, she'll reveal the starting poundage, a seriously bad place to be healthwise.) But, one day at a time, as they say in -- oh, never mind. Along the way, the scrapblog editor came to appreciate large spinach salads (they go down easier when chased by a small glass of red wine and a small piece of chocolate), and experienced a heady triumph this very morning when she found her toenails slightly easier to access for their monthly clip. Onward ho!

hooray! hooray! slow and easy wins the race!

might i recommend my own personal favorite breakfast: hot Irish oatmeal!! with a small sprinkling of brown sugar. let me tell you, that stuff stays with you for hours. whether you want it to or not...
