Sticking together on a melancholy day
The Sprick men and assorted outlaws -- LeRoy, Ed, John, Hart, young Joe, Bill and Elmer -- looked pretty solemn on this photo taken in August 1973. They had reason to be grave -- they'd just served as pallbearers at Aunt Adelaide's funeral. She was killed in a car accident in Red Wing, Minn.
