The Millers 7 (before Kemberlie!) visit Old Frontenac and Lake City

Old-ish photos (from July 2013) but goodies, from a day Chris and crew came down to visit me in Old Frontenac, and we went to Lake City, where Waterski Days was underway.

We walked down to Lake Pepin, of course. Even on an overcast day, it's awesome.
Sisters Elizabeth and Hannah Miller do a "Titanic" move down on the Old Frontenac beach.
Sisters Hannah, Avamarie and Elizabeth on the Old Frontenac beach.
Elizabeth on the Bill and Alverna Miller memorial bench. Alverna died shortly after Liz arrived, and Bill never met her. How they would adore her now!
Elizabeth and the last of that year's peonies, in my Old Frontenac house. Years ago, Aunt Annette and Mom planted peonies in the Old Frontenac yards that they'd taken from the Sprick family farm. So those are some historic peonies right there! Like many beautiful things (Elizabeth and Avamarie, for example), they are originally from China.
Elizabeth tries to demonstrate her famous stink-eye (saved for people who 100 percent deserve it, believe me), but it didn't quite work. Too much twinkle. Haha!
Awww. Am I a lucky auntie, or what?
