Dad/Uncle Bill would have been 82 this Friday (April 13, 2007). Hard to believe, as he liked to say. In honor of dear old Dad, we'll present a lot of Brother Miller photos this week. (Dad was known as Brother until he got married and Alverna's relatives called him Bill. His mother's name was Mamie, his twin sister's Cissie.)
Dad was always cheerful and brisk, even when he was doing goofball things. In the top photo, he appears to be mowing ... dirt? In the bottom, his ubiquitous pipe was upside-down -- a distress signal??
