Piano lessons
The Miller kids took piano lessons once a week, forever. The teacher in this case was Herr Puefflinger, our Deutscher Lerner in Deutschland, who was ever in Lederhosen. He didn't speak much English, but we understood him well enough. He favored one semi-English sentence: "Sehr gut, but now I think we will next week repeat that one, danke very much then." Oddly enough, only one of the Miller cousins can play the piano well now, and that's the one who never practiced. Now, is that fair? And, guess who he was?
