Noah, Pam and neighbor Nathan went to the "Star Trek" convention in downtown Minneapolis on Sunday. (By the way, Noah wants you to know that even though he likes "Star Trek," he's not a geek; our fabulous friend Brina had bought him a convention ticket for his graduation present, knowing how much Noah and Pam love "Star Trek.") We saw William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, who played Kirk and Spock, and bought a number of "Star Trek" action figures, which we put next to our precious Sprick family photos. Frankly? The juxtaposition isn't as incongruous as you'd think.
