As the Miller kids grew older, Alverna had a harder time making them pose nicely at various historical sites. Here they acted disrespectfully at the graves of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane in South Dakota. That's cousin Tuck "weeping" at right. Tuck was dangerously influenced by the Millers for a while, but overcame it to become a respectable citizen, married to Sheila, one of the nicest and classiest people we've ever met.

Wild Bill and Calamity Jane, we hardly knew thee
As the Miller kids grew older, Alverna had a harder time making them pose nicely at various historical sites. Here they acted disrespectfully at the graves of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane in South Dakota. That's cousin Tuck "weeping" at right. Tuck was dangerously influenced by the Millers for a while, but overcame it to become a respectable citizen, married to Sheila, one of the nicest and classiest people we've ever met.
