Thank God, Anna is OK!

Cousins Pam and Dan, alarmed by the recent disturbing, spooky, almost otherwordly view of Anna (posted previously, in case you missed it), rushed to Red Wing Saturday morning to check on our family matriarch and Lutheran saint. Thank God! The petite and sweet one appeared to be fine, though moving a little slowly (not that we need to her, at age 86, to move fastly), and her little apartment was lovely, though the Martin Luther bobblehead doll in her guest bedroom looked a little eschew, as if someone wise and petite had asked him a few too many very difficult questions. Pam and Dan brought Anna a Subway sandwich for lunch (are those two classy, or what?), but Anna still insisted on providing wonderful Anna-like lunch items -- fresh cottage cheese with pineapple chunks, vegetables with dip and a variety of cookies. She's the best, our Anna. We encourage all the cousins to go visit her, right now, but call first so she can comb her amazing, gravity-defying, lovely hair. Our sense that Anna was OK came largely from her Annalike alarm about the tornadoes rolling across Kansas, where cousins Chats lives. Anna is worried about Chats and Michael! (By the way, Chats and Michael reported Sunday that they're OK, but saddened by the loss of life in the Kansas twisters.) Tornadoes have always been a particular concern of Anna's. When she stops worrying about tornadoes, we will start worrying about her.
