Happy Birthday, dear Mavis!
Happy Birthday to Mavis, a totally dear aunt and human being! Here are some wishes for her: May her grandchildren all be Democrats! May all her dreams come true! May she live for 30 more years! May she be showered with flowers and blue plates until she says Uncle! May Elmer cook dinner for a week (venison/fish/venison/fish/venison/fish/venison?!)! May her house sell tomorrow at the asking price!

No, the house didn't sell the next day but Mavis got a break in the fish-venison diet when a friend gave us three pheasants.
