Dad/Uncle Bill's photos from Vietnam reflect not the horror of war during that time (1967-68), though he saw plenty of it, but rather the beauty he saw and the hope-against-hope t
hat characterized him. He took many poignant photos of street children, and wrote to us often of how they rent his heart. At right, he played with his beloved adopted dog, Charlie, named, of course, after the enemy of the day. Look for more photos Dad took in Vietnam at our family archives site.
