A wonderful Christmas Day at Hagbergs'

Before we get too deep into the new year, want to post a few photos from a wonderful, merry Christmas Day at Jane and Ted Hagberg's home in Woodbury, Minn. Thanks for having us, Jane, Ted, Teddy and Katie! It was a very happy day.

Our gracious hosts -- Jane, Ted, Teddy and Katie Hagberg.

Katie was home for the holidays from college in Arizona. Teddy just graduated from Bethel College in Arden Hills; he works at Target. They are wonderful young people.

Pride shines in the smile of Aunt Katie Sprick Kirkwood for her granddaughter and namesake, Katie Hagberg. Like many of the best photos in this post and the one below, this photo was taken by the talented Mary Miller.

Ted takes a siesta, as much as a person can with those lively Miller kids chatting you up. That's Avamarie, 4, and Elizabeth, 9. They're pistols, those two.

Radiant second cousins Moriah and Hannah Miller and Katie Hagberg.
Sandy Kirkwood Turner was a special guest all the way from Texas. Here she confabbed with Chris.
As Jane oversaw the fabulous production, her Lake City brothers, John (Tuck) and Joe Kirkwood carved the roast beasts. Nobody went away hungry, that's for sure.

Photo bomb! Somehow cousin Sammy Broberg's solemn visage appeared in this photo I was taking of second cousins Marty Broberg, Moriah and Hannah Miller and Katie Hagberg.
The second cousins without Sammy in the background -- though, say, we miss him already!
Sam and Bridget with two of their three wonderful sons, Alex and Zachary.
Avamarie wanders by the big boys, or some of them -- Marty, Tyler and Zachary Broberg.
First cousins Tuck Kirkwood and Dan Broberg.
Part of any family gathering is having Mary take a photo of your family group. It takes a while, and requires some patience, but she's a super good photographer, and it's always more than worth it. Here, she arranged the Sam Broberg family on the Hagbergs' staircase. They all behaved quite nicely.
I'm sure Mary's photo of the button-eyed family was much better than mine, but aren't they good-lookin' no matter what? Your scrapblog editor sure things so. Love you all, cousins!
