It's high time to highlight Michael Northrup, the scrapblog editor's beloved brother-in-law and a man of impeccable taste. You may not know that Michael owns a precious piece of art. Yessir, it's by that famous American artist Buddy Ebsen hisself, who when he wasn't painting masterpieces played Beverly hillbilly Jed Clampett.
After Michael bought the painting, Buddy sent him an autographed photo of hisself, wee doggies. The quality of this work (we include a closeup for your edification) brings tears to our eyes. Hope Michael has this baby insured. Ebsen died in 2003 at age 95.
