Several undated, unlabeled photos buried deep in the family trunk appear to be of a farm auction. Here is one. The scrapblog editor faintly remembers that Alverna told her that it was taken on the dark day during the Great Depression when the Sprick family farm was auctioned off. This horse was part of the stock being sold, she said. Perhaps Joe or Anna can tell us more?

A mystery from our family history
Several undated, unlabeled photos buried deep in the family trunk appear to be of a farm auction. Here is one.
